Here is a brief introduction to Destiny at Play. Destiny at Play is a collection of stories that share the same universe.

These stories, and any and all of my writing is for free use, no credit, no Creative Commons license obligation (Aside from whatever CC0 tells you to do), and no reverence.

My work is anybody's work. I am not special and I never will earn a cent out of whatever I create as to not poison my own writing.

The universe of DaP (Destiny at Play) is one with 1 sun, 4 planets and a semi-living asteroid. The sun is just there to say the planets receive light, maybe I should study more astronomy, but at the moment that's not the focus.

These 4 planets are: Vanui, Ami, Lux and Shayi. Each representing a major theme that seeps into all stories happening in each of them.

Shayi is the oldest world we built. Its theme is War and Conflict (interchangeable). Because every part of the stories I have ever made for it has ended up portraying those themes quite explicitly, the hatred, the politcs and the religious affairs in it. One day I may share a document expressing the explicit world building of this planet.

Vanui is the second oldest we've built. Its theme is Free Will. What keeps you shackled, what binds you to your responsibilities, does fate exist or are you truly free? This planet, in order to explore this theme and to have more freedom with writing, this planet has no world building explicitly. Its only piece of lore is that it's a paradox. Any and all realities, multiverses and timelines exist within this single planet. So feel free to create any story with any setting and throw it in this planet.

Lux is the second youngest planet, it was built by Manuela C. de Souza, and its theme is Love. This planet, unlike Shayi is not filled with unknowable magic and gods, but with politics and science, as well as super powers cuz we found that cool. Its stories however are separate from its world building, and their focus is often to tell the dramatic day to day lives of everyone who lives in it and how love both heals and hurts us all.

Ami is the youngest. It's theme is Conviction. What does one believe in and how does it shape perception, do you have the will to carry out your beliefs and so on. It's a mish mash of a planet with not much planned at all. I plan to one day write for it, but it's really low priority right now.

The only thing in common for these planets is that their reality is entirely controlled by who writes for them. In our original iteration, the one I write to you now, the Authors, or writers for these were Me, Sterling and Manuela. They are represented in world building as the eldritch beings with varied names. However this is not a rule to write for this universe, just how I've portrayed the world building, so do what you will.
